Senzanome Escape is a cozy 50 square meter loft designed for those looking for the perfect combination of contemporary comfort and historic charm. Renovated with love and foresight, it preserves typical Bolognese architectural elements, such as exposed beams and a beautiful red brick arch, but dresses them with a modern, essential and refined style.
The space
Located on the ground floor of an elegant period building in the historic center, the loft can accommodate up to four people in a fluid, bright and quiet environment. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic retreat, families eager to explore the city or friends who love to share authentic moments.
The entrance opens onto a fully equipped eat-in kitchen: oven, hob, refrigerator, Nespresso machine with a selection of pods, kettle, dishes and everything you need to feel at home. In a corner, a small space dedicated to breakfast welcomes those who want to start the day with tea, herbal tea or coffee, accompanied by local biscuits.
Continuing on, you enter a warm and welcoming living area, where the parquet and wooden details harmonize with a comfortable double sofa bed, a TV, a stereo and, a rare and fascinating detail, an upright piano, available on request for the most inspired guests. Whether it's an impromptu serenade or a solitary exercise, music has its place here.
Climbing an iron and wood staircase you reach the mezzanine floor, a real gem: on one side a relaxation area with a sofa and a second TV, on the other the double bedroom with a queen size bed, wardrobe and beams that tell centuries-old stories. The lowered arch of the ceiling creates a cozy atmosphere, almost like a nest: perfect for those looking for a deep, protected, almost fairytale sleep.
The recently renovated bathroom is spacious and functional: large shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet, bidet, backlit mirror, hairdryer and courtesy products.

An address that is a story
And then there's the name. Via Senzanome (Nameless Street). A street that, after all, has more identities than a single name can contain. It was once called Via Sfregatette (Street of Whores), a bizarre name to remind people how narrow it was, then Via Sozzonome (Street of Bad Names), perhaps due to the bad reputation of its former occupants. In the end Bologna decided not to choose and renamed it Senzanome (Nameless): a name that is already poetry, an invitation to leave preconceptions at the door.
Walking from here towards the heart of the city is a rare pleasure: in a few minutes you reach the majestic Piazza Maggiore, the beating heart of Bologna, with the Basilica of San Petronio, the Fountain of Neptune, the Town Hall, the Palace of King Enzo and the Palazzo d'Accursio. Just around the corner you'll find yourself under the famous Two Towers, Garisenda and Asinelli, the undisputed symbols of the city. If you're feeling fit you can climb the 498 steps of the Asinelli Tower for a breathtaking view over the red roofs of the city.
Strategic location
Not just beauty: Senzanome Escape is also strategically connected. A few meters away is Piazza Malpighi, with bus stops to and from the Central Station, from which shuttles also leave for the Guglielmo Marconi Airport and the FICO Food Park, dedicated to Italian gastronomic excellence.
In the surrounding area there are many traditional restaurants, hidden trattorias, organic markets, artists' workshops, bookshops and cafés. This is the real Bologna, not the one on postcards: here people greet each other in the street, bicycles pass in front of cars and on Thursday mornings the smell of meat sauce wafts out of the windows.
For those arriving by car
The apartment is located within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), active from 7:00 to 20:00. During these hours it is not possible to access the area by car without a permit. However, there are numerous paid parking lots nearby, within easy walking distance.
